Protest The Hero are making their mark on the hard rock, hardcore, heavy metal and post-whatever scenes, thanks to the progressive, metallic, and so-far-left-of-center-that-it-hangs-out-at-dangerously-close-to-the-warning-track music on their latest album, Fortress.
PTH formed seven years ago in their hometown of Whitby, Ontario, when they were just 14-years old. They spent weekends, holiday breaks and summers on the road and on the very same day they graduated from high school - began a headlining tour of their home turf. While spending their formative years in a van playing shows, they also released an indie EP called A Calculated Use Of Sound, which was followed by their 2005 debut, Kezia, which wowed critics and introduced fans to the band's mature-beyond-their-years technical skills, passionate delivery, and outspoken nature. French actress and chantuesse Charlotte Gainsbourg will tour North America for the first time this spring, with performances featuring material from her celebrated new album, IRM, which was produced by Beck. The tour will begin in Vancouver on April 11 at the Vogue Theatre, and will include a set at the Coachella Festival on Sunday April 18.
Backing Gainsbourg in the upcoming live shows will be a highly accomplished band including Bram Inscore (bass), Amir Yaghami (strings/guitars/percussion), Brian LeBarton (keyboard), Nicole Morier (background vocals/guitar) and Eric Gardner (drums).

Originally a battle DJ, D.R.one linked with producer DJ Grandtheft in Montreal. Realizing they had a creative style of club DJing in common, the duo began throwing fun parties all over the east coast. Eventually they formed the Team Canada DJ Crew in late 2004 and released their all-remix whitelabel debut "Classic Material Volume 1".
